Wintered Over Device Description

The Wintered Over device is a circular decoration that represents how many times the wearer has wintered over (or remained in Antarctica) through the continent's winter period. It is attached to the center of the Antarctica Service Medal which also includes a campaign bar for when the medal itself is displayed. Bronze represents one occasion, silver is two, and gold is three or more occasions. This device is in a 3/16" size.It comes in Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
