The Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon (Air Force NCO PME Graduate Ribbon) was authorized by the Secretary of the Air Force on August 28th, 1962. The ribbon is awarded to graduates of the certified Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Military Education schools which includes the NCO Preparatory Course, Airman Leadership School, NCO Leadership School, NCO Academy, and the Senior NCO (SNCO) Academy. Graduation from each successive level of PME entitles the personnel to wear an oak leaf cluster on the ribbon. This award has the distinction of bearing the longest name in United States award history.
